WHO IS CAROL ANNE MUNRO?
My name is Carol Anne Munro (birth name) although some of you have known me as Carol Atkey (married name), and some of you know me as Holly Majestic – a name I was guided to take for five years. I have been an instructor, coach, trainer, manager, and facilitator in the field of human potential and evolution for over forty years.
My background in the human potential field began when my passion for skiing was ignited as a teenager. I quickly moved from skiing and racing to instructing and coaching skiing as a means of building self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-courage for children and adults alike. At the same time I developed my administrative and business management skills to prepare me to fulfill my dream and vision of managing and redeveloping an urban ski area in the City of Edmonton to provide a safe place in nature for children to learn and grow. This vision was fulfilled when I completed the redevelopment and the skier visits had gone from 2,000 to nearly 100,000 per year with over 9,000 children in ski classes (on a 15 acre hill with a 92 foot vertical – for some this will be a revelation).
With my wake-up call of cancer in 1987, I made a commitment “to go to the source of the cancer.” Upon completion of my vision for the ski area, I then began a personal healing journey to heal cancer in my body at the source. This commitment led me to experience and learn the healing arts and energy medicine to provide the support, tools, and techniques my clients (and I) needed to transform extreme traumas, the challenges and maximize our potential to create the dreamed and visioned life we are meant to embrace and live to lift ourselves to our vibrant vital loving joyous life and in so doing lift the energy of peace, calm, joy and love on the planet.
My great fortune gave me the opportunities to study Qi Gong, Acupressure, Environmental Medicine with Dr. Steven Aung, M.D., T.C.M.; Buddhism with Lama Kalden, the Dalai Lama, and Dr. Kawamura; Energy healing and soul retrieval; Reiki; and other energy modalities. This led to me operating a healing centre in the country west of Calgary, providing seminars on phone and on site, year-long training, three-day weekend intensives, bi-weekly sweat lodge ceremonies, vision and healing quests, one-on-one sessions, and crisis and respite care for Native American children. My work with other Shamans led me to New York shortly after 9/11 to assist with energy work in that area.
A call to Hawaii to learn and write led me to live in Kauai, Hawaii for parts of two years and to commence my Masters of Divinity degree leading to my ordination as a Minister of Spiritual Peacekeeping. This led me to teach and do energy healing work in Israel, Egypt, Scotland, England, United States, Guatemala, as well as Canada.
Presently I reside in North Vancouver, B.C., Canada. I always loved mystery stories, so love to be the sleuth in helping others find solutions to feeling more energized, more wellness, more abundance, more peace and harmony in all facets of their lives through teleseminars, seminars, one-on-one sessions, six-month and year-long trainings, while embracing their dreams and visions in the life they were meant to live.
What do I do for fun, recreation, and exercise? Although I presently cannot ski like I used to, I love to hike in nature several times a week. Along with visiting with my children and friends, practicing Qi Gong, swimming, reading, storytelling, canoeing, cooking, dancing, I also am a nut about creating commissioned healing/vision coats.
